Conditions Pitched Perfect Contest

These promotional terms and conditions apply to Karsten Tent World BV and the Karsten Pitched Perfect Contest (hereinafter referred to as: ‘the contest’) of Karsten Tent World BV, with its registered office in Zwaag at De Factorij 9, the Netherlands.

General

  • This is a temporary contest. The promotion runs from 30 September 2023.
  • By participating in this contest you agree to the terms and conditions. Karsten Tent World BV reserves the right to disqualify participants if it is of the opinion that they are not acting in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  • Participation in this contest is open to everyone (amateur and professional), with the exception of employees of Karsten Tent World BV and direct family members of employees of Karsten Tent World BV.

Participation

  • Images can only be submitted via the form on the website of Karsten Tenten.nl
  • Each entrant may submit as many photos to participate as they wish.
  • Only photos of sufficient size (see point 3 under “Entries”) will compete for the prizes.
  • Karsten Tent World BV determines at all times whether the submitted photo may participate in the photo contest.

Entries

  • The photo must have been taken from (or from within) a Karsten Tent. “Karsten Tent” is understood to mean: any tent manufactured by Karsten Tent World BV in Zwaag. So not only the inflatable Karsten Tents, but also the Karsten Tunnel Tent, Karsten Awning and Karsten Customization.
  • Submission must be accompanied by information about the location of the photo.
  • The photos must be submitted in the following format: JPG. The size of the photo is between 2000 and 2800 pixels (72 dpi) on the widest side. The file size of the photo is up to 8 MB. Photos that do not meet these specifications will be automatically excluded from participation.
  • The person submitting the photo must also be the owner of the photographed tent.
    • Image manipulation, i.e. adding or removing certain image elements that change the content of the photo, is not allowed. Light editing is allowed.
    • The participant guarantees that he/she is the creator of the photo and is in possession of all intellectual property rights (including all personality rights) to the photo.
    • Entrant can guarantee that he/she has obtained permission from all people in the photo, or has permission from a parent or guardian if it concerns children under the age of 16.
    • The participant gives Karsten Tent World BV permission by submitting the photo(s) to freely use the photo(s) for publication on the website, folder and social media of Karsten Tent World BV.
    • The participant retains the copyright to the submitted image at all times and can freely exploit it; however, he will not charge any compensation for the use of the image by Karsten Tent World BV.

    Winners

    • The entries will be judged by a jury composed of employees of Karsten Tent World BV.
    • The first prize is a Gift Check from Karsten Travelstore worth € 250, the second prize is a Sleeping Bag Brut from Human Comfort worth € 149.95 and the third prize is a Karsten Cozy Carpet worth € 59.95 .
    • The winners will be notified personally via the e-mail address with which the photo was submitted.
    • The photos of the winners can be published within the network of Karsten Tent World BV (print and online), usually with generalized attribution, such as “family X”.
    • Winners must make their photo without watermark available to Karsten Tent World BV for publication.
    • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

    Liability

    • Karsten Tent World BV, the auxiliary persons or third parties engaged by it cannot be held liable for any actions arising from this promotion.
    • Karsten Tent World BV cannot be held liable for any damage or injury to property and/or persons as a result of the use or use of the prizes awarded.

    Final Provisions

    • Karsten Tent World BV can change the promotion conditions at any time and can also terminate the promotion at any time.
    • Karsten Tent World BV and the auxiliary persons engaged by it maintain the utmost confidentiality regarding the winner until the day of the announcement of this winner.
    • The data of participants will only be used in the context of the contest. This data will not be provided to third parties.
    • Nothing from the content of this promotion and/or publication may be reproduced or published without the express permission of Karsten Tent World BV.
    • Changes and typing and typesetting errors reserved.
