Conditions Pitched Perfect Photo Contest

These terms and conditions apply to Karsten Tent World BV and the Karsten Pitched Perfect 2025 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the contest’) organised by Karsten Tent World BV, based and operating at De Factorij 9, Zwaag, Netherlands.

General

  • This is a temporary contest. The promotion runs until 30 September 2025.

  • By participating in this contest, you agree to the terms and conditions. Karsten Tent World BV reserves the right to disqualify participants if it deems that they are not acting in accordance with these terms and conditions.

  • Participation in this contest is open to everyone (amateur and professional), with the exception of employees of Karsten Tent World BV as well as their immediate family members.

Participation

  • Photos can only be submitted via the form on the Karsten Tenten.nl website.

  • Each participant may submit as many photos as they wish for entry.

  • Only photos of sufficient size (see point 3 under "Submissions") will be eligible for prizes.

  • Karsten Tent World BV reserves the right at all times to determine whether a submitted photo may participate in the photo contest.

Submissions

  • The photo must be taken of (or from) a Karsten Tent. A "Karsten Tent" is defined as any tent manufactured by Karsten Tent World BV in Zwaag. This includes not only the inflatable Karsten Tents but also the Karsten Tunnel Tent, Karsten Porch Awning, and Karsten Custom-Made Tents.

  • The submission must be accompanied by information about the location where the photo was taken.

  • Photos must be submitted in JPG format. The dimensions of the photo should range between 2000 and 2800 pixels (72 dpi) on the widest side, with a maximum file size of 8 MB. Photos that do not meet these specifications will be automatically excluded from participation.

  • The submitter of the photo must also be the owner of the tent depicted.

  • Image manipulation, such as adding or removing elements that alter the content of the photo, is not permitted. Light editing is allowed.

  • The participant guarantees that they are the creator of the photo and hold all intellectual property rights (including all personality rights) to the image.

  • The participant must ensure they have obtained consent from all individuals featured in the photo, or from a parent or guardian if the photo includes children under 16 years old.

  • By submitting, the participant grants Karsten Tent World BV permission to freely use the photo(s) for publication on the website, brochures, and social media of Karsten Tent World BV.

  • The participant retains copyright over the submitted image at all times and may freely exploit it; however, they will not request compensation for its use by Karsten Tent World BV.

Winners

  • The entries will be judged by a panel composed of employees of Karsten Tent World BV.

  • The first prize is a fantastic Karsten Tents Prize Package worth €119, consisting of: a Comfy Karsten Tents T-Shirt, Comfy Karsten Tents Socks, a Karsten Tents Mug, and the Karsten Cosy Carpet. The second prize is an Official Karsten Tents T-Shirt worth €29.90 in a size of your choice, and the third prize is 2 double-walled Karsten Tents Mugs.

  • Winners will be personally notified via the email address used to submit the photo.

  • The photos of the winners may be published within the Karsten Tent World BV network (print and online), typically with a generalised name, such as "family X".

  • Winners must provide their photo without a watermark to Karsten Tent World BV for publication.

  • The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Liability

  • Karsten Tent World BV, its hired assistants, or third parties cannot be held liable for any actions arising from this promotion.

  • Karsten Tent World BV cannot be held liable for any damage or injury to property and/or persons resulting from the use or deployment of the awarded prizes.

Final Provisions

  • Karsten Tent World BV may amend these terms and conditions at any time and may also terminate the contest at any time.

  • Karsten Tent World BV and its hired assistants will maintain strict confidentiality regarding the winner until the announcement date of the winner.

  • The data of participants will only be used in the context of the contest and will not be shared with third parties.

  • No part of the content of this promotion and/or publication may be reproduced or published without the express permission of Karsten Tent World BV.

  • Subject to changes and typographical or printing errors.
