English NEW! The Karsten Amara
Meet the Karsten Amara! The bigger sister of the Karsten Opera and the little sister of the Karsten Lacerta and Imperia. While the rest of the family was shining in our showroom, it was about time for a proper upgrade of our very first tunnel tent. Because technically, she's the 2.0 version of our beloved Karsten Tunnel Tent 2800.
Tribal elder
A Karsten Tent which is pitched in no time, without a pump. When the Karsten Tullen Tent 2800 was born back in 2013, it took some getting used to for the Karsten fans. Now, more than 10 years later, our tunnel tents are immensely popular. So it was about time to give our very first baby a proper upgrade. We would like you to meet the renewed 2800: the Karsten Amara.
1, 2, 3, 4! Different canopies
What makes the Amara special are the optional awnings that come with her introduction. For example, the Amara comes standard with the same beautiful awning of the Karsten Opera, Lacerta and Imperia. But the Amara is so much more! Add the Extension Awning for a bit more space. And if that's not enough? You can ad the Rain or even the Combi Awning upfront. Now that's some comfortable camping!
And the best thing is: As from now on, the extension awning, rain canopy and combi awning are also available for the Karsten Opera and Lacerta. The Imperia can be extended with an extension and combi awning only.
Fine tent for four to sleep
The Karsten Amara is a nice light tent with an overal height of over 2 metres. Two large windows on either side give the tent a wonderfully spacious feel, while the dividing wall gives just that little bit of privacy with two separate sleeping compartments. Because draughts, moisure and bugs have no place in the tent, we also equipped the Amara with an adjustable entry, which you can fold in and out, so you can easily walk in and out of the tent during the day.
In a jiffy
Of course, the Karsten Amara is also made of the very best materials and stands in a jiffy. Knock a peg into each corner, feed the poles through the unzipped pole slots, set it upright, zip the slots back up and it stands! As sturdy as a house. From 89x34x34 cm to 440x280x212 in just a few minutes. The great enjoyment can begin!
Amara-worthy
As a tribal elder, the name Amara fits her meaning of ‘tribe’ exactly. But the meanings ‘immortal’ (the Karsten tunnel tents are here to stay!) and ‘steadfast’ (a Karsten Tent stays standing!) also fit her like a glove. Amara can also be read as an amalgamation of Amor (love) and Mara (always). And well, once you're sold... that love for Karsten tunnel tents never goes away, of course.
