Terms & conditions Karsten Photo Contest 2021

These terms and conditions apply to Karsten Tenten BV and the Karsten Photo Competition 2021 (hereinafter referred to as: ‘the contest’) of Karsten Tenten BV, with its registered office and principal place of business in Zwaag at De Factorij 9, the Netherlands.

General

This is a temporary contest. The promotion runs from September 24, 2021.
By participating in this contest you agree to the terms and conditions of the promotion. Karsten Tenten BV reserves the right to disqualify participants if it believes that they do not act in accordance with these promotional terms and conditions.
Participation in this contest is open to everyone (amateur and professional), with the exception of employees of Karsten Tenten BV as well as direct family members of employees of Karsten Tenten BV.

Participation

Images can only be submitted via the form on the Karsten Tenten.nl website website
Each participant may submit as many photos for participation as they wish.
All entries are visible on https://www.facebook.com/karstententen.nl
Only photos of adequate size (see point 3 under “submissions”) compete for the prizes.
Karsten Tenten BV determines at all times whether the submitted photo may participate in the photo contest and whether it will be placed on the Facebook page of Karsten Tenten BV.

Submissions

The photo must have been taken from or from a Karsten Tent. “Karsten Tent” is understood to mean: any tent manufactured by Karsten Tenten BV in Zwaag. So not only the inflatable Karsten Tents, but also the Karsten Tunnel Tent, Karsten Awning and Karsten Customization.
Entries must be accompanied by information about the location of the photo.
The photos must be submitted in the following format: JPG. The size of the photo is between 2000 and 2800 pixels (72 dpi) on the widest side. The file size of the photo is up to 8 MB. Photos that do not meet these specifications are automatically excluded from participation.
The submitter of the photo must also be the owner of the photographed tent.
The photos can be from any time.
Image manipulation or adding or removing certain image elements that changes the content of the photo is not allowed. Light editing is allowed.
Participant guarantees that he/she is the creator of the photo and that he/she is in possession of all intellectual property rights (including all personality rights) in the photo. Participant guarantees that he/she has obtained permission from all people in the photo, or has the permission of a parent or guardian if it concerns children under 16 years of age.
The participant gives Karsten Tenten BV by means of submit permission to freely use the photo(s) for publication on the website, folder and social media of Karsten Tenten BV.
The participant retains the copyright to the submitted image at all times and can freely exploit it; however, he will not charge a fee for the use of the image by Karsten Tenten BV.

Winners

The entries will be judged by a jury composed of employees of Karsten Tenten BV.
The first prize is a brand new Karsten SI Box mattress Blueline 10 DUO from the new line of camping products from Karsten Tents worth € 279, the second prize is a Karsten SI Box mattress Blueline 10 Single € 199 and the third prize is a Karsten Cozy Carpet worth €49.95
The winners will be personally notified via the email address used to submit the photo.
The photos of the winners will be published within the network of Karsten Tents (print and online), if desired including attribution.
Winners must make their photo without watermark available to Karsten Tenten BV for publication.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Liability

Karsten Tenten BV, the auxiliary persons or third parties engaged by it cannot be held liable for any actions resulting from this promotion.
Karsten Tenten BV cannot be held liable for any damage or injury to property and/or persons as a result of the use or deployment of the prizes awarded.

Final Provisions

Karsten Tenten BV can change the promotion conditions at any time and can also terminate the promotion at any time.
Karsten Tenten BV and the assistants engaged by it keep the utmost secrecy regarding the winner until the day of the announcement of this winner.
The data of participants will only be used in the context of the contest. This data will not be provided to third parties.
No part of the content of this promotion and/or publication may be reproduced or published without the express permission of Karsten Tenten BV.
